Jon Pierce came 4th and Jesse Kelly 19th in the super vets ,Martin Turton 3rd in the sports class , Matt Wood 64th Open class and Mike Burton 50th in the fun class. Basically, look on the map for Deepcut, if you don't know where it is geographically. I am linking a map with the suggested parking spot on it so that you all have some idea, we will meet at 7.30 again to allow for the slightly greater distance travelling wise. If you are going to come along, I suggest you fire me an email so that I can give you specific instructions, and if for any reasons we have to cancel (hurricane conditions? not predicted at the moment!) The Tour of Britain road race goes up over Winterfold and then comes out on the crossroads on the main road near the shop, and I am keen to get a bit of club presence out on one of the corners down in Cranleigh to supplement the banners I am intending to put up as well. The race comes through around 2.30 so if anyone wants a chance to see Wiggo and Cav again this year, where I am thinking of setting up has a great view of oncoming riders who will then turn right in front of you at a mini roundabout and go off up the road towards the shop. Let me know if you can make it!! If enough people respond, we can look at doing a ride in the Surrey Hills after its gone through?
