Although the 1hr ride time on max beam appears short, it can easily be used on it's ride setting which will outshine most handlebar mounted lights for up to 3hours. Plenty for those winter night rides! Teamed up with a piggy-back battery it can be adapted to run all night for 24 hour racing as well.
