Club riders Malin Tindberg and James Poole rode their way to victory in the 24 hour mixed pairs category on the weekend at Bontrager Twentyfour12, held at Newnham Park in Plymouth. A club turnout of some 60 riders watched in awe as they rode round the course at a pace more suited to an hour and a half cross country race, wondering if they would survive the full 24 hours. But all went well and they found themselves on the top of the podium at the presentations on Sunday. Well done to both of them.

They were not the only club winners. The veteran men's team, no strangers to the podium in 24 hour events, again won the category, as did the open women's team.

The price of the Specialized Enduro Comp has been reduced from £1957 to £1600. A similar reduction in the price of the Pitch Pro a few months ago resulted in stocks at Specialized being decimated in a couple of weeks, and although this is a more expensive offering, nevertheless it is a much better specced bike for your money. This is the real macoy. We have some stock and can get more, so hurry now whilst it lasts!

Sadly, just when we would all like to see prices fall, the bicycle trade has been hit with a series of price increases. We would like to make our customers aware that any stock we have which was brought in at the old, lower price, will be sold on to the customer at that price. Look out for items, in particular bicycles, on our website, where we have made a point that we have that item for the lower price. Do phone us for a price if you are not sure.
