The BB90/95 - Bearing Kit - ABEC3 OS - 24mm is an oversized bottom bracket bearing kit from the brand Enduro Bearings. The BB90 bottom brackets from Trek require the bearing to be directly pressed into the BB shell, which is usually made from softer materials like carbon or aluminum. Over time, the bearing seat can become slightly oversized due to use. The custom replacement bearings in this kit are made slightly oversized (0.1mm) to compensate for any wear and provide a perfect fit. Enduro ABEC-3 bearings are specifically engineered for bicycles. They feature 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races paired with grade 10 Balls, LLB seals, and 90% fill high-pressure, water-proof grease. The deep grooves in the bearings accommodate the largest balls possible, ensuring maximum bearing contact and increased bearing life. For convenient removal and installation of this bearing kit, we recommend using the BRT-003 24mm x 37mm bearing tool (EB9040). This tool allows quick and easy removal and installation of bearings while the bottom bracket is still on the bike.
